I have been in self isolation since 17March. This evening I started a mild fever. For the past 4 days I noticed that I was getting aches at the back of my neck, but decided that was caused by me having to turn my head a little to the right to see my PC screen. The ache is still there. I am awaiting the delivery of a thermometer, but it won't arrive until next week. My pulse is strong and regular, and the mild fever manifests itself as if my face has pins and needles. Also seem to have lost my appetite, apart from ice - cream.
I had the same symtoms many years ago when I had pneumonia while work in the huge fridges at Frys Chocolate in Keynsham, so know what to expect. I lived on ice -cream for 8 weeks!
According to !medics, I should start suffering from a dry cough soon. Sofar nothing like that. Phoned my son of course, who is within 50 miles. Will keep you informed, of course in case other forum colleagues start with same symptoms.
