Been away for 9 days. Can't believe how much some of the fish have grown in that time!! I guess when watching them everyday you don't notice.
The lodger Convict has turned out to be female I believe and is thriving. Unsure what to do, whether to re-home or keep awhile and see

Guess as long as she is behaving herself, you can keep her.
Main thing is that you can just enjoy your tank now :)

Yeah I'm considering another tank to use to house a couple like a breeding tank but big enough to house some.
I'll look up all the requirements for the convicts/severum might have a couple of those and then my parrots can have a dirty weekend in there sometimes lol

I know one thing, the herd will need thinning next year if these all continue to grow!

But it's nice to enjoy the tank without a drama (touch wood)

Haha no. I wouldn't mind trying to breed a convict with a parrot to make the polar parrot

Hi guys, been really busy recently and not on the forum much. Got a couple of days off now and I'm splitting my time between golf and fish tank!

I have spent £+*" (just in case) on a load more very large driftwood, moss and Amazon sword mother plants. They are all going in on Friday with a major re-scape.
Currently in my quarantine tank I have a pair of baby tiger Oscars.
I am going to trop co Friday morning who are going to take 8 blood parrots of my 11 for credits and I intend to get a couple of red shoulder severum and a vieja sypsilum. All will be quarantined for 2-4 weeks.
Not sure what I'll do with the swords, attach to wood or bury in sand. The Hornwort I bought is flourishing in the tank now and I believe my giant Anubias are fighting back as there are a few new leaves growing.
Will get some pics up once the over haul is complete.

Hope everyone is good

Swords won't do so well attached to anything. ;)
They spread mainly by roots but do shoot out a stem with baby plants on it every so often.
