Cryptocoryne wendtii will get tall and bushy - they have in my tanks anyway and I only have sand and no ferts or CO2.

Yea I have some of that but again It's hard to keep on top of with how quickly it shoots runners out but :(
Sorry I should have been more specific, I was talking sessiflora, unless I’ve been growing it wrong it won’t send out shoots, it just grows for the sky.
I had some in my big tank. It got to about 3.5ft long then sent loads of runners out. I got sick of it and ripped it out for some hygrophila.

@Ry4n7 I like cryptocoryne balansae.

Awesome ill check that out, I have some crypts but the mid ground 1s. Thanks

Cryp balansae are the long crinkled leaves at the back of the tank.

That is a beautiful looking tank. Do you use any ferts, tabs or CO2?

Thank you @Ry4n7 I've been running co2 and twice daily liquid ferts for 3-4 weeks. Most of the plants were doing ok before that though.
