I wouldn't be too happy with that response from Aqua Essentials. As said above, an apology and assurance that if the plants aren't viable that you will be refunded would have been better. I think they use a slower option than Aquarium Gardens which puts me off using them (AG almost always arrives next day though not guaranteed, and they won't send out plants on a Friday to avoid weekend delays). My AE orders have been more like 3 days as standard.
The suggestion for floating is good though... Just be aware of their T&C which is that you need to take photos of ALL the affected plants and send it to them on the day of receipt.

Hmm, just seen that they don't recommend their standard shipping for plants. Why offer it then..?

The plants arrived today (7 days after despatch).
2 of the plants in my order are the wrong plants, I ordered 2 x Staurogyne Repens and received 2 x Juncus Repens.
I telephoned Aqua Essentials and they will re-send the correct plants.
I may use the Juncus Repens in the 120L aquarium and give them a try seeing as they are now free, nothing to lose.
The Echinodorus Reni is looking a little sad but should bounce back.
The Echinodorus grisebachii Tropica is small and arrived without the label, I ordered the same plant from Pro Shrimp recently and that was much bigger. (???)
I'll let the plants sit in tank water for 24 hours before attempting to plant them, as suggested by Aqua Essentials.
