Wonder if they'd maybe look at bit lost in amongst my cardinals if they don't get a strong yellow colouration.

Its been a while since I've kept tetras ( other than the neons ) The yellows I had were seriously vibrant, as were the Red and black phantoms.

If you want something really vibrant, what do you think of diamond tetras? I really like them now and slightly regretting not getting them at the start..

Just had a look at them online very nice! Watched a few videos very engaging.

Then again I do like a Cherry Barbs aswell, maybe not suitable for 25c long term?

Seen Black Line Tail Tetras the other week they were very shimmery.

My cherry boys are at 24-25. Seem to be thriving.
240L Fluval Roma with Oase 600 Biomaster: 1 German red bristlenose, 4 male cherry barbs, 6 standard rummynose, 3 golden rummynose tetra, 9 emperor tetra, 14 cardinal tetra, 2 hengeli rasbora, 3 nerite snails, 1 adult Sulawesi snail and multiple juveniles continually appearing.

Parameters: gH2, kH1, pH7.4 (tap).
Fish fiend since October 2017.

Probably between Lemon Tetras & Cherry Barbs I think.
