Had mushrooms for a few days around the pond usually a sign of good soil

Back on the pond!! I ended up draining it and removing a lot of sludge and leaf litter, filled it half way with treated tap and left it at that. The rain and snow has filled it the rest of the way up.
Sadly I didn’t get around to adding the new plants around the pond as planned ( Lobelia × milleri 'Queen Victoria', gladioli’s and liatris spicata ) as the rest of the weekend and Monday was written off with serious abdominal pain, which quickly escalated into a GP visit followed by a night and most of the next day in A&E!
Judging by the weather today, it was probably a good thing I didn’t get around to planting them!!

Hope you're feeling better now. Looking forward to seeing the pond when it's done

Getting there now! turns out I’ve got mild appendicitis, which hopefully my immune system can mostly rectify! Waiting to hear back about scans to make sure everything is ok, else it’s removal.Munchy2007 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 14:46 pm Hope you're feeling better now. Get well soon M.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
