My smallest guppy us getting smaller... I thought it was just naturally small or not getting to the food as much so was trying to make sure I saw her eating each time

Today she's been very lethargic.. I'm thinking something's not right



No.. I don't mean the fry!

What med is best do you think?
Internal bacteria or parasite?
Currently have interpet anti internal bacteria and Esha gdex..

Has she just had fry?
Mine go like that immediately afterwards, then build themselves back up again.
She has a different tail to normal females, it's rather nice. (or does it have white edges to make it rounded?)
If you are worried just soak the food in garlic or even feed some crushed garlic (leave for 10 mins after crushing for the medicinal enzymes to start working ).

Not had fry that I'm aware of though there are a couple in there. The tail is a little ripped actually but all of them have a quite rounded tail.

Good news it's all the 15 or so fry were taken by a guy locally for £10 which helps when it comes to the ones I need to replace.
We kept one, on its tail has red, green and blue in a sort of rainbow

Looks female. Livebearers are easy to tell, the anal fin
Males have a gonopodium or spike, females have a full fan shaped fin they all start off female as fry and change when old/mature enough, normally around 4months old onwards

Yes, I thought so!
I'm not sure I've seen any males yet... is there anything to do with temperature?

Anyway, the thin guppy seems to be worsening, removed to Qtank and tried feeding cyclops soaked in garlic last night, added a little melafix too but this morning, she was lying on her side. I didnt have time to do anything before work and no clove oil, but I think she may be gone by now if not too far gone...

That's sad news.
