Cannot remember what size your aquarium is, but if you can find one there's the Clown Plecostomus (Panaqolus maccus)
Maximum Size: 9cm (3.5" inches) but most of the time around 3" inches in captivity.

That maximum size is a Standard Length (excluding tail) so about 5”, same as bristlenoses.Martinspuddle wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2023 17:37 pm

Mr. Ghost, whenever I have kept Clown Plecostomus (Panaqolus maccus) these Loricariids have never grown over three inches (not including caudal fin) in any my aquariums nor have I've seen them any larger than 3" inches.black ghost wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2023 18:17 pmThat maximum size is a Standard Length (excluding tail) so about 5”, same as bristlenoses.Martinspuddle wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2023 17:37 pm

The Flash Plec (P. albivermis) is the same size. They both need softish wood to eat.
Yeah that fits. 3” not including caudal fin is 3” Standard Length, which is about 4” Total Length (including caudal fin). They can grow to about 5” TL, which is about 3.5 - 4” SL. I doubt Planet Catfish have mixed them up with a different species.Martinspuddle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 11:14 amMr. Ghost, whenever I have kept Clown Plecostomus (Panaqolus maccus) these Loricariids have never grown over three inches (not including caudal fin) in any my aquariums nor have I've seen them any larger than 3" inches.black ghost wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2023 18:17 pm

Think you might be mixing these fish with a different Plecostomus species.
