I regretted buying the Juwel Lido 120; I found it too tall (better for a marine set up). Glad I sold it.

I was going to get the fluval roma 125 but its 80 cm long where as the lido being 60 cm long fits in the space which is only 70 cm ish .
As for it being deep I dont mind that I have long arms

I was thinking of the swimming space for the fish but at the time of buying I was thinking of the water volume.taffy1972 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 18:10 pmI was going to get the fluval roma 125 but its 80 cm long where as the lido being 60 cm long fits in the space which is only 70 cm ish .

The Juwel Primo 70 (70L) is the same length but 10cm less depth (31cm) and less tall (44cm).
The Fluval Roma 90 (90L) is about the same length (60cm), depth is 35cm and height is 50cm it also has LED lighting.
None of the above are suitable for skuba diving

Hi all sorry i havent updated this thread for a while as i have had a few personal issues going on .
At the beginning of february my sister passed away which really hit me hard .
As for the tank i ordered a trigon190 in white which arrived on the day of my sisters funeral which wasent ideal as you can imagin .
Anyway i started to set it up once i felt like it .
I added sand a few rocks ,plants and some bogwood . then added ammonia 3ppm ish and waited and waited then last week the ammonia had gone in 24 hours and the nitrite had started to move up. Inbetween all this covid struck me and my girlfriend which knocked us both off our feet for a couple of weeks.
Im adding ammonia daily which is still going in 24 hours so its ticking along nicely .
I will put some pics up when i can .
