Re: Hi! New and confused

Tannins are generally beneficial to fish, I believe they have anti bacterial properties, also fish prefer the dim lighting that you get by default, it has the potential to lower Ph but you would need a lot, still personally I would not leave it to get to that stage, fish do not like swings in Ph, if...

Re: Staffylovers Rift Lake Tank(s)

fr499y yes! version 2 I think it is, thought it might be nice to try something different since I am not trying to grow any plants, it's a nice effect but not very powerful, I don't think it shows the colours on the fish very well, something I didn't consider, at least with the light evenings I can ...

Re: Staffylover's Two 200s (Pantanal/Catfish kingdom)

Recently managed to find some chunky black widow tetra, the largest of them are about the size of the palm of my hand, I never really appreciated they could get to this size, they are far more impressive when you see a group like that than the normal tiny ones, https://i.postimg.cc/9FKj2nkW/dapril6-...

Re: New Tank Log: VikingMummy

Hey VM that's fantastic, I am quite limited by my water although a lot of fish will adapt few will breed, I am just starting to get into breeding by keeping a lot more livebearer's, it's a side of the hobby I've never really tried to venture into until recently, it's certainly providing me with more...

Re: In The Shallows

BBA is a bit of a menace, SAE's are helpful and I like them but they get to a good size, in the 25l that I set up in December I have been trying out liquid carbon dosing along with ferts, also in that tank totally by accident I ended up with bladder snails must have come in with some plants, they ar...
