So I was having trouble with my di resin not lasting long enough after doing a bit of research and seeing a few others doing it I added the ability to flush out that initial high tds water from creep, before the di resin. Don't get me wrong I love my tropical tanks but I think reefing may have slightly overtaken! Just cultured my first batch of phytoplankton aswell. So much tech in it and I do love my tech.

2nd the fluval 207 or whichever generation of that size. Currently have one filtering my 80litre figure 8 tank and it does the job nicely with good flow.

Sorted i got some bumblebee snails and a couple of clowns. I should say I wasn't just ignoring advice, I appreciate it. I was already at the shop and hadn't seen replies. Clean up crew seem to be a little more sensitive, any recommendations on hardier clean up crew would be appreciated.

Yeah had some live rock in there for a week now I think. It made all the difference, literally the tested ammonia the next day and it had shot down. I could maybe do a big water change and then get a pair of clowns knowing they are pretty hardy and then next week or maybe week after get some clean u...

They like to use the redsea ammonia test, I probably should have just bought some of that aswell it can be confusing using when your using 2 different brands.
It was probably about 30 mins from taking sample from my tank to getting to the shop and them getting round to testing it
