For what it is worth, fish can and do change sex, so you may not be a one sex tank for long.

Fluval Bug Bites
Hi all,
This came up on a facebook page. Has anyone any experience with it?
https://fluvalaquatics.com/us/bug-bites/
On the face of it it looks good, or is it another gimmicky food.

Re: Moving my tank
It has got to be safer to empty the tank completely. When I have done it in the past, I put all the fish in a large bucket filled with aquarium water. Add the heater and an air pump. If necessary I will put the plants in as well. They should all be fine for 24 hours or so, which will give you time t...

Re: Targeted feeding
Hi
There is no one food feeds all that I know, but flake food feeds the top and you can get food designed for bottom feeders. there are also foods designed for specific varieties. check with your local aquarist store. You will need more than one food.

Hi
Continuing my research on internal filters, I came across this series.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +my+filter
This guy's ideas agree with my knowledge of filter design, and his filter modifications are simple and should be effective..
Well worth a look.

Hi everyone. My tank is a fluval roma 125, which I have had running for about 18 months. It came with a fluval U3 filter. I am not impressed with this filter, It is easy maintenance, but the way it fits in the tank is very poor. I have lost fish when replacing it in it's holder as fish get behind it...

Hi If you get daphnia, and put it into a container in the garden, it should reward you with a steady supply. Daphnia breeds pretty quickly in green water. You could also get brine shrimp eggs to hatch in jars of salty water. Make sure they are rinsed well before putting in your tank. Then there is a...

hi
There is probably more sex and violence in an aquarium than on tv. I think that is what you are getting.

Hi I use a stainless steel spiral scourer. (from Asda, although others may be available) Before you say it no it doesn't scratch the glass. I first saw it used in a local fish selling shop where they were using it to clean the shop tanks. They seem to last almost for ever. On the downside it means p...
