Re: Plant Issue
Brilliant, thank you so much for your advice. Do you think the weekly dose of TNC is enough or is there a better brand?

Re: Plant Issue
Thank you for reply. I will certainly trim off as suggested and divide some stems. I’m due to do a water change tomorrow so that will be a good time to carry it out. Another question, does it become a nuisance to manage or is it okay with regular trimming?

Re: Plant Issue
I have had those plants for about six weeks.I have Flourish root tabs and dose TNC weekly into the tank plus Flourish Excel daily. I didn’t know the name of the plants as I asked in MA for fast growing easy plants and they suggested the ones you can see. Thanks Unalome, I certainly have a soft spot ...

Plant Issue
Hi, I am new to having plants in my aquarium so I realise I have an awful lot to learn. One of my plants seems to be shrivelling slightly. I have used Seachem Flourish tabs in the substrate, I dose TNC weekly and also add Flourish Excel daily. Any suggestions as to what could be causing the issue an...

Re: Cherry Barb with swollen abdomen.
Sadly I don’t have a small aquarium to put her in. I do have rocks but not dragon stone and they have no noticeable sharp edges. I will try and get the API Melafix tomorrow and see how she progresses.
Thank you for your help.

Her abdomen is very swollen and at first I thought she could be egg bound but today I noticed part of her belly is red and I wonder if she could be bleeding internally? She is swimming but not in the usual manner, more upright. Is there anythin...

Re: Male or Female Rainbow Fish?
Thank you, I now know the ratio required for the rainbows to be happy and not become aggressive towards each other which I really want to avoid.

Re: Male or Female Rainbow Fish?
I am indeed in a hard water area so that won’t be an issue for the rainbows. The boys do look great and certainly enjoy their bloodworms! Thank you for your advice again it’s very much appreciated.

Re: Male or Female Rainbow Fish?
Another question on the rainbows, can you keep all males together or do you have to add females? I’m just thinking ahead before adding anymore stock. I would like to have a peaceful tank and would not wish to create any unnecessary issues between the group.
