This morning on entering the lounge where the CT resides I noticed a strange and rather unpleasant smell. A quick search should that it emanated from the small bowl of dried shrimp which I was soaking overnight. This was to be a later treat for the inhabitants of the CT. I didn’t realise that preparing such for the CT would result in this noisome welcome.
Anyway, that reminds me of the tale told about the famous Dr. Johnson, the guy who was the first to compile the dictionary of the English language. One day while he was riding in an enclosed horse carriage, he was accosted by a fellow female traveller with,
“Sir, you smell, “
to which the famous man replied,
“No madam, it’s you who smell, but 'tis I who stinks.”

Part the deux...
I think I should have crushed the shrimp first. On popping the soaked food into the CT, I notice that it seems to be too large for the fish to chew. They have just ignored it. Lesson learned.

Soak them in a sealed container overnight.
