Now the Ich treatment is finished, the Val has started the turn red again!! They did not the "gluteraldehyde" in Secheam's excel and, they definitely do not the "formaldehyde" in the Waterlife Protozin.

IIRC its to do with the carbon compounds in both chemicals that vallis doesn't like.
Technically both are a type of disinfectant, one is good at killing bacteria and algae spores, the other infections! lol ( Although one is used in production of particle boards and the other for cleaning surgical equipment and other stuff )
