Much better thanks Paul, the geos are awsome growing well now, they are really peaceful but can handle themselves, they would do well in your tank if you have room.PaulVerrall wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 20:04 pm Hooe you feel better mate.

It can take them a few tries to get it right and if they aren’t comfortable they will eat their own fry, so they get to reuse the energy used to create the eggs/fry and prevent others getting a free meal. It’s sad but also quite clever when you find out why they do it
Hopefully they will breed again and as they get more practice you’ll end up with little ones

To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

Hopefully yes, they are still only young at 4" and very first go, was surprised they got so many to the free swimming stage, but they just couldnt defend them from the others well enoughGingerlove05 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 22:39 pm It can take them a few tries to get it right and if they aren’t comfortable they will eat their own fry, so they get to reuse the energy used to create the eggs/fry and prevent others getting a free meal.
