Peru but not the Rio Nanay Matt.
I have my datasheets for the rivers in Peru which list the confirmed fish species present in each river.
The Corydoras will be from the list below which I previously posted.

C. panda - Aquas Amarillas, tributary of R.Pachita and the Ucayali system. (thanks to Ian Fuller's book)

We're taking another trip out on Monday (02/08/2021), firstly to re-home the remaining Gold lasers and Flash plecos, secondly to find fish that are on my list.
I'm not too hopeful but maybe later in August some stocks will appear.

We went out, visited 3 x Maidenhead Aquatics and came home.
I did buy some fish.
An extra 21 x Ember tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae) which now makes the count around 90 in total.
Plus .. 20 x Head & Tail Light Tetra (Hemigrammus ocellifer).
No Corydoras to be seen that are on my list.

What saddened me today is that I saw about 20+ Corydoras virginiae at one MA which is what I wanted for the previous theme, then I saw about 4-5 at another MA.
These were from Peru and a nice size. Oh well.

This evening the new fish were counted in to a temporary holding tank.
I did spot the odd snail in the transportation bags, I removed a few.
I will check the temporary holding tank tomorrow for any other snails, they won't be going in my snailless aquarium.

So I now have a large shoal of 91 x Ember tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae) which should look good when they all colour up.
I also have 20 x Head & Tail Light Tetra (Hemigrammus ocellifer) as a contrasting tetra.
I have updated my signature.

I am now at around 75% stocked, so plenty of room for any elusive Corydoras.
My stocking level includes the 9 x Cupid cichlids (Biotodoma Cupido) based on full size although they are still juveniles.
They will be dwindled down when they pair up as I'll only keep 2 pairs (maybe 3 pairs) and re-home the non-paired. I know that one is a male (extended finage), I'm unsure on the other 8 though.
This will eventually free up more space for additional fish.

Typical about the corys.
Have you contacted Lee or Ian Fuller to see if there are any in the country going spare?

No Ian
I wouldn't know how to contact Ian Fuller. He only lives about 40 miles away in Kidderminster (as far as I know).
The Corydoras sychri & Corydoras fowleri are quite expensive at over £20 each (retail); even the Corydoras loretoensis is quite expensive at around £15 each.
I might wait for the less expensive Corydoras atropersonatus to come back in somewhere.
There is stock coming in from Peru at two MA stores later this month, the managers will phone me if any of the cory become available.

I did see the false rummy-nose tetra (Petitella georgiae) at one store yesterday but only one fish. How can they just have one fish ? I would of given it away to the person who bought the others.
I don't like seeing just the odd fish in an aquarium.

Video:

My Corydoras agassizii.
They are quite big. The occasional photo bomb by the Cupid cichlids (Biotodoma cupido) which helps show the size of these Corydoras agassizii.
