About 5 months ago decided to dip back into the hobby after a 3 year break (new baby interuptions :P   ) as we have been in our new house for nearly 12months now and have a lot more space for a tank, spotted a 4ft bare tank on Gumtree for £50 and bought it.  Slowly (over 2 weeks ) bought new equip to run in it filter, light, heater, and got a really rubbish metal too cabinet as a stand.ImageImage

Instantly decided that Cichlids where to be stocked as they have always been my passion.  Over the last few months the stock has changed then around 8 weeks ago seen an add on Gumtree again for my current tankImage this came with the lid, lights, and stand with slight water dmg for £50.

As I said stocks changed a bit trying to balance aggression and stocking levels and currently houses 15 Neons 3 Albino Corries and a breeding pair of Dwarf Cockatoo cichlids( Apistogramma Cacatuoides orange), bought these 3 weeks ago and day after introducing to tank the spawned, eggs hatched had over 20 babies but the male slowly over a few days hunted them down and ate them :( .  Well today just found they have spawned again and looks a lot more eggs then the first attempt.  This is the male Image and this is the tank as it looks now. Image

Will keep this updated as things progress.
