Moved over from the 'old' site so I thought I'd bring my tank log with me, all metric tonne plus of it...

Still in its infancy, started setting up a 6ft tank around xmas 2017. Intended as an outlet for my interest in some of the rainbows that deserve a decent size arena to do their thing in. Planted, inline heating and CO2, 2 filters - fluval fx6 at one end (running a DIY spray bar along back wall), JBL crystalprofi e1500 greenline at the other (running spray bar along a short side at 90 degress to long DIY one). Lighting via 2x fluval fresh & plant 2.0 LED's. Substrate bed of tropica plant in areas where plants intended to be, overlaid with mix of black sand and micro gravel (both Unipac).

Almost as special as reef glue? well, maybe not that good...
Thanks for all the positive feedback folks. From previous experience there will be trials and tribulations, there will be algae and unexpected deaths but there will be good times too and that's why we all do this madness. If I can get one to stay still for a couple of seconds I will try to grab a pic of some new arrivals later this week ;-)
