Not sure what to do with a log but hey ho, will just write what's happening etc.

Day 1
06.10
Van carrying my new 72"x 24" x 24" custom made aquarium and stand arrives.

From AquamaniaUK an eBay company, it's here 3/4 weeks earlier than expected.

Delivery men carried in for me thank god but I didn't have them put the glass on as I needed access to where it was going

After this I decided to go play golf, come home have a BBQ and a few beers and contemplate what I had done (felt quite out of my depth and don't think I realised the size of it)
Went to bed to sleep on it

Day 2

Got up with purpose today, sorted filters, cut hoses, put electric into the cabinet. Cut the foam and placed tank on the stand. Stood back and admired, decided this grief will be worth it, once set up I hope, if it looks like the pic in my head it'll look epic!

Day 3

Been out and bought 2 heaters today and fitted them, gone with in tank heaters for now, the same with the FX4s I've set them up how they should be with the intention of modifying as I go along, to give me a bigger understanding of how it will all work.
Bought some more bogwood and put in the tank just to get an idea.
Ordering sand now which will be a few days as will my seachem stability and some more media for the FX4s. I'm hoping it'll all come this week so I can fill the tank Friday night and get the filters running, add Chems and then place an order with Trop Co for new fish that will go in the tank with my existing fish to avoid territory problems.

Bogwood is going to obviously have sand underneath aswell as potted plants in ceramic pots, probably java fern. At the other end I intend to have Red Lava Rock stacked into caves with rocks on top that have plants attached already

You seem to be getting on well considering it was delivered so early, they do look massive at first but once you fill it with substrate and hardscape etc they soon start to look smaller, bet you can't wait to see your fish in there :D
