Shame about the breeding pair....?
I'm always very dubious of people selling things and suddenly they're "broken".....maybe it's just the cynic in me...

He not only rang me, but insisted on both video chatting me, then sent me photos of the corpses after. There was some drama about moving out their flat and they suddenly had to do it overnight, etc before the landlord shut them out and locked all the fish in. Seemed pretty genuine. But I very much get what you mean.

Added some pond weed (from the pond) to zebra land today. Not sure how it'll do with warmer water and poor lighting, not to mention when the wave maker comes on over night. I like the look though. Time will tell if it works out.

They're definitely getting better at it. Most I've had in a line is 9 so far. Just need a couple to start squeezing into caves and having babies now.

Guessing that was a baby? Going rate seems to be £65 - 250 per fish depending on age, size and gender. Not a cheap addition/ colony.

Well the plants didn't last long before they started disintegrating, so they're back out again, but look how well the new zeb is doing. Seems to be getting a bit fatter and his tail tips are growing back well. Starting to look a lot healthier than when I picked him up. He's a lot bigger than the others. Not too much longer, but probably twice the volume. He looks mature now with obvious hairs on pectoral fins, etc. Shows I've got a long time to wait for the others to be mature. Maybe another year or two yet I reckon. Super happy with his recovery from looking ragged and nearly dead so good health and nice and active.
