Well, we're officially over 1 month old. All 6 fish present and accounted for. Grown nicely. Look plump, but not bloated. Another 8 weeks to go until they're theoretically 'bullet proof' according to the Internet. Very happy for my first attempt at raising plecos. Still a way to go though.

It's a fluval large hang on breeder box. Think it's about 2 litres and about a foot long. Air pump pumps water out the main tank into the breeder box and overflows back into the tank. Means I don't need a filter or heater in there and effective the shrimp and fry have a 500L + sump. I've just ordered a medium hang on breeder box too as I'm going to have another go at breeding cardinal tetra again in the next few weeks.

In the breeder box I have some moss and put an oak leaf in every week or two for bio film to grow on.

The shrimp will hopefully eventually repopulate the actual zebra tank (adult tank), but they haven't done well so far when added. I do wonder if the water is too soft for the shrimp having a massive tree in there releasing loads of tannins, etc.
