I think it may be time for a little trim...

Image

Added some oak leaves this week and it's a nice touch but the shrimp seem to be enjoying them.
Spring is certainly in the air... Water...

Please note that the top FBI computer techs have been at this next photo and are unable to clear it up, but you can make out the orange, a nice clutch of eggs! Now I know what to look out for in future

Well, almost a month on I can no longer see the eggs on any of the shrimp, so they must have dropped
Is it possible they were released and now hiding? Otherwise, I feel they aren't going to work in with my guppies!

In other news, the tank is looking seriously overgrown now, so at some point I may need to really hack it back as I just did a little trim before

@Drifty asketh and he shall receive!

The red blob bottom left is actually just a piece of red pepper I thought i would try - largely untouched...

I think I may add some more bacopa from the other tank in here because it is going a little leggy but seems to do ok and need a bit more background planting I think

You may be surprised what you find if you cut the foliage back, but I'd actually leave it if you have guppies, the shrimplets will need loads of cover.

Last time I just trimmed the tops and left the cuttings fall into the rest of the hedgerows

I'll leave it for now in that case, but I can see I do need to clean the front glass!
