Been busy with school stuff and then school holidays for my boy so not updated for a few weeks.
Had to do more serious thinning of plants, added root tabs for the Swords and now battling a small BBA outbreak. Started spot treatment with Excel at yesterday’s water change and it’s started turning pink/red today so fingers crossed.

Long time without an update; life!
BBA seems to be gone thanks to the targeted dosing with Excel. Both tanks ticking over nicely. Went in today planning to just remove this amount (a couple of dead leaves, a handful of frogbit and a couple of snips of the longer hygrophilla stems)
An hour later....
I’ll be a bit more organised next time with the frogbit and offer it up for sale now it’s *spreading*. I’ll try to get some video of the two tanks later on tonight. It’s staying light until quite late now so hard not to get added reflections!

Hello VM. You have been away a while.
I'm really struggling to get decent pics with the light nights too. I hope your congos are still pretty.

I'm the same with plants, spot a dead leaf or two and eventually you have a small pile.
When I take photos of the aquarium I always draw the curtains.
Here's one I made earlier using a pencil and plain white paper.
