Yep! Although they've never gone mental like that before so hopefully never again.
I thought I was going to loose 3 fish yesterday so I'm relieved to say the least! The blue diamond is looking a bit peaky still but I think it'll recover fully. It can swim properly today.Andys temperate tank wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 12:48 pm I'm pleased all looks well Ben. You must have been sick as a chip yesterday.

They're all eating but the stunted Moonstone is eating but last to the food, but that's nothing new. Just a little slower than usual.
The whiptails are settling in well, both are feeding well but have different habits. The darker (Mrs, I believe) loves frozen food and has no interest in dry foods, however the light coloured one (Mr, whiskers extend further down the belly) doesn't seem interested in Frozen but loves a tablet. Mr Whippy (wife names the fish...) needs to put on a bit of weight really so it's good that he eats the entire tablet on his own. They also have slightly different head shapes but I can't see anything online that would suggest it's an accurate way if sexing them.

Two points from that sentence. Firstly, I've missed the joke . Secondly, I can't say I've ever imagined you as the type of person that would come up with the line "just for the lolz"

A week of the whiptails and all is going well, feeding and getting on with the discus. One thing of note is that they only use a 30cm area of the tank. Also, Mr Whippy likes to dig to plant roots, and Mrs Whippy is a fan of eating them, as shown by the digs at the base of the Staurogyne.
