I'd imagine they will hatch in the next 12-24 hours. Would be nice if a few survived. I love fish spawning, it demonstrates you are doing a good job.Stephen wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 16:23 pmI think you were right Ben.
Just checked the few eggs on the aquarium glass and one is twitching in the current but there is definitely a nucleus (black dot in the middle) and very clean looking, the others not though.
It's been 4 days since I spotted the cory eggs.

They didn't come to anything.
It's early days and I guess they were just practicing.
It isn't my intention to breed the Corydoras trilineatus but if they do then fine.
My intention is to breed the Gold Laser cory (CW010) but I'm in no hurry.
All the best

Time flies when you’re having fun!
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

Hard to believe this new Juwel Lido 120 is now 9 months old.
It's now time to think about some breeding.
I will hopefully transfer a group of the Gold laser cory to this 120L aquarium.
I may have the cory in there on their own.
I am still considering removing the Juwel internal filter and having an external filter.
Then again, maybe switch the internal filter off and add an air sponge filter.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
I have never attempted to breed fish before, so this is a new venture for me.
I am also considering re-planting the aquariums (both this 120L and the big 550L).
I may have to take the plants and decor out of the big 550L aquarium just to catch the Gold laser cory.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
All good fun though.
