Their good at that, time and time again Dad wouldn't listen. I know where your coming from @Stephen it was only after a three week stay in hospital and the nursing staff telling him that the only way he was going home was with a full care package. Then he did finally start to listen to us.

Both the plecos are there under a large piece of bogwood.Stephen wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 10:32 am I believe all the fish are well, I say "I believe" because I don't see the Snowball plecos (L102).
I see one of them but only when I shine a torch under a piece of bogwood.
I'm doing a water change tomorrow (Friday) so will lift all the pieces of bogwood to find the other one.
All the other fish are all present and accounted for.
Back to it, still cleaning, trimming plants and doing water changes
Edit:
Finished at 14:50

Busy busy day then I do miss a big tank, but the 15 minutes to water change and clean the nano is a godsend

The False rummy-nose tetra (Petitella georgiae) arrived at my favourite LFS a week ago (I'm so pleased).
I will hopefully pick them up this Thursday or one day next week.

I just spoke to the manager at my favourite LFS (he was away until today) and they sent the wrong rummy-nose tetra.
They sent Hemigrammus bleheri instead of Petitella georgiae. He has plenty of the Hemigrammus bleheri (even more now).
So I am a little disappointed today
I am about to phone some other LFS to see what Corydoras stock they have, so maybe I will make a trip out, but I'm not holding my breath.
Edit:
I'm staying home today

Thanks Mattfr499y wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 15:49 pm http://shop.sweetknowleaquatics.co.uk/e ... gories/1/3 any use?
I have visited there a few times.
I have several suppliers bookmarked including Sweet Knowles, Abyss, Aqualife Leyland, River Park Aquatics, Tropco, Wharf Aquatics etc.. for "fish by post".
I also have a list of LFS contact details for many LFS within 150 miles of my home.
We'll have to meet up at Sweet Knowles sometime.

Just some observations.
All the fish are fine but there seems to be two Cupid cichlids pairing up.
I noticed a pit in the sand under a piece of bogwood and the space occupied occasionally by the definite male and less frequent by a female.
I believe the male has instigated the creation of the pit in the sand but likely both the male and female are responsible.
The definite male is hanging around the bogwood where the pit is located and chasing away any other Cupid cichlid except for the smaller female.
I have also observed what potentially could be another male Cupid cichlid. There are slight extensions to the tail fin but not as obvious or as long as with the definite male but extensions are there.
This is great news for me as I wanted two males with the potential of two pairs.
As I'm typing the female is under the piece of bogwood and the definite male is guarding the area.
She just come out but he's still hanging around and guarding the area.
This is quite fascinating to watch.

More than likely a dummy run but I'll keep an eye on it.
