If your PH is under I think 8 then you are likely to be measuring ammonium without enough ammonia to worry about, don't take my word for it though.

I think the ph needs to be below 7 for that to be vaguely true, the more alkaline it is, the more lethal ammonia is.

pH is 6.9. tested again today, still nothing out of the ordinary, though it's looking a little less cloudy, maybe I'm coming back out of it again

Pre water change photo from yesterday, everything is nice and stable, Cory's have spawned three things now, though I've not harvested any eggs yet
