Needs to be rustic smoked oak to fit the rest of the decor, which is not easy to find! maybe a metal frame cladded with the stuff instead.Have to be super plush cabinet, this depending on how difficult the Mrs is to please of course.

Definitely a bike sports bikes, far from a good idea on the road!
You joke with the flamethrower but making one out of solid wood and burning it (Shou sugi ban) had actually crossed my mind, or even a metal frame and cladding it with burnt and stained pine doors.

Ooooo stunning, would he be a black (spechti) or a dark blue standard (opercularis) I can't see any banding so it made me think of the black type, I may well have been tempted by a black but I 've never seen any for sale, whichever he/ she is a stunning fish

Yeah, there won't be any banding as I believe its a Macropodus spechti I haven't seen paradise fish for sale anywhere for years, and said to the misses, if I ever find them local I'll have to buy one. Sure enough, this shop less than a mile from work had 4 different types in stock
It's currently the size of a female endler, so has a few inches to grow!!

My local shop always has at least 2 colour variants down in the temperate section, not the Albino though I found them further afield, is your local shop online, could you send a pm if it is? I would love to try a black one day, lets face it there are lots of fish I would like to try but I can't keep them all, not all at once anyway!

We have plenty of emersed growth now and plenty of flowers! The amount of roots these plants are putting out is insane too!
The plants are now twice the height of the aquarium and looking lovely in natural light.
