Sounds like chronic Multiple Tank Syndrome. It’s an old excuse… I’ll just add these African Red Eyes to my South American tank… oh dear, I need a new tank. Take an apple a day and say three Hail Marys and you’ll be fine.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

That would be a great idea @Martinspuddle, but I don't have enough tanks! Once the Aqua Oak goes only the Africa tank and the new custom will be long enough, they are quite sizeable fish well not chunky but long and slim and very fast. The new tank also needs to house most of the current Aqua Oak fish, so will they be best in a tank with scissortails, some small tetra, loaches maybe Tiger Barbs eventually, or the Africa tank which is deeper similar length with Congo/ red eye Tetra and Syno's, at the moment I can't decide.

@plankton Don't think I have ever seen those Inle loaches, not sure I would be able to spot them often with that black and white colouring, but then I like my very pretty L no pleco's that I hardly ever see but that doesn't seem to put me off. I also have a pair of Sawbwa Barb also from lake Inle, but they are so small and peaceful I would not like to put them with the danio.
@black ghost I already have multiple tanks! I enjoy having several, but the problem is they can't all be 6ft long, I will 'only' have 2 at that length, so the Danio need to go in one or the other, the other tanks are 100l or less, at the moment that is

About time I did some updates,
This tank is bimbling on nicely, there is some BBA, I will be tidying it up soon removing old leaves etc there will always be some as the tank does get some indirect sunlight, it's likely I will add an SAE in soon to help out,
There has been some new additions, 6 yellow tail Congo Tetra and a group of small Tetra called Sharptooth Tetra (Micralestes acutidens) They actually have a really lovely blue shimmer they are very active, much like Danio, talking of Danio I put the Inle Danio in the new shallow, will do an update on that shortly.
Regarding more stock I have another 4 red eye in quarantine waiting to go in, I might add a small group of glass cats not sure yet, pleased with how the plants are doing recently took the tops off most of the stems and replanted them, I will add more twisted Vallis if I find any, there is a small crypt imposter that I can take out now I have somewhere else it can go, talking of imposters I do keep some sucker mouth cats in here which obviously are not correct, but since I only see them at feed time I don't think they really count, the whiptails are survivors from the wipeout but the H.Rhantos that are in the video were just fish I came across and was unable to resist!

Nothing to report with this tank, it's just ticking along but thought I would add a couple of pics on and keep things up to date, I really like my pair of slender lionhead cichlids, not the most colourful but full of character, the male yellow tail Congo tetra are really pretty with a proper blue sheen when they catch the light, the other fish seem to be ok, the S.Nigriventris are very nocturnal I hardly ever see them and there is 5 in there! However the S.Granulosus always come out for food they are greedy, one is getting quite fat they are very quick onto the food
