Very nice. Are the horseface loaches the ones that bury beneath the sand? I saw a couple of these a few months back and they captured my interest.

@FishBubs Yes they do this, for the first 3 weeks I never saw them, except for the odd tail disappearing under the sand, but since then they have become increasingly brave and are often seen now sifting the sand, they are still most active after feeding live or frozen food especially worms, but I do see them at other times, I got 3 to see how they got on they have been fine so would like to get at least 2 more next time I see some.

Done a bit of a re scape I had to really as I took some wood out for other tanks and it was time for a change anyway, here is a before pic

It looks a bit bare just now I need to get some more Anubias for the new woods, found 2 new pieces of wood that are quite spikey and dramatic looking, I put them in the corners and the lower bits in the middle, there is a bit of space between that will hopefully get filled up with plants, it has changed the look of the tank a fair bit, I think it looks a bit more cohesive than before, it did need a bit of a refresh

Nothing much happening this weekend in the world of fish, I cleaned out the FX2 that runs the Pantanal theme tank so that's all the externals done not very exciting so thought I would put up a few pics I took the other day while watching the big tank for a bit, one of the horseface loaches nosing around, the little banded barb looking bright - they are not all this colourful so assume this to be a male, I think they might breed if I ever had time to fish them out, and the Costae looking nice and shiny like they do :)
