Neons also prefer it cooler than bettas, cardinals prefer the warmer temps
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

Yes, they are cardinals.
@WinterRose73 . Watching the situation carefully, thats why I split ten between the two tanks.
Any problems and the tetras will be whipped out and stuck in the moss tank.

Everything I say and do are the result of multiple personalities. If it is offensive then it wasn't me!!

I had 7 in with each betta. It was only the veil tail who seemed to be having a real problem with them but I took both groups out and put them in the large tank, just to be safe.
'Take wasps,' Death continued. 'Wasps are made entirely from bastard. Whose grand design are they part of?'

Interesting note.
In Persephone's the filter is creating bubbles on the front of the tank and she seems to enjoy playing (although playing is not a concept in animal behavior, we have to call it 'interacting') with them.
Sir Daniel's tank is just smooth flow so going to change that now and see if he exhibits the same behavior
