Emperors, you can have a squadron of those compared to the bigger congos. ;)

Size wise, I know a lot of people say congos only get to 3 inches, but I lost one that's slowly gone downhill for the last week and measured him when I removed him. 10cm (4") nose to tail tip and he's definitely not the biggest I've got and have had before. Had at least one that was a good couple of cm longer. Which is over 4" depending if you measure from the base or the end of the tail fins and getting on toward 5".

I think I will stick to 6 and hope they all survive. I don’t want to buy more and risk overcrowding. Now if only my QT tank would cooperate

Tail doesn't cont Si, just the body. ;)
They do get much bigger than expected though - if they have the room.
