On from this thread back last year where I went away and came back to a fully stocked tank, thanks to my mother and my kids!

I managed to rehome/return most of the fish, bar the 3 clowns. In the meantime, something unexpected happened. I've really fallen for the clowns and their temperament.
So much so, I'm now looking to upgrade the tank to a trigon 350 (yes I know I'll still need a larger one, but this needs to be done in stages to get approval from she who must be obeyed. If I suddenly chuck a 6ft tank in the living room she'll go batshit, if we just go larger on the current corner tank, then I should be able to wangle the next jump without much issue.)
So I'm going to get another 3 clowns initially in the 350 and just run a clown tank with a few tetras. Looking forward to this new direction.
Juwel Trigon 190 currently cycling'ish with 7 Tetra Cardinals and about 10 Amano shrimp.

Will Swmbo not fall for them aswell? Surely when there’s 6 of them out playing in that nice new tank...? They’re very slow growers, which does you a big favour re upgrades.

If they’re happy they’re a very easy fish to fall in love with...

Oh I'm sure she will, it's the house they'll need to live in that she won't... Immeadiately... Give it time!

They don’t need a house, just a room... ;)
