Cue an influx of posts about plants being eaten. I had some of these years ago not knowing they'd eat the plants and the scoffed almost every leaf in one night.
Certainly one of the most attractive snails though!

It was only recently I discovered they had become illegal! I’ve never owned one, I just think they get too big for me, I like small things in my tanks. But now I know they eat plants I’ll definitely avoid them, thank you.

If I remember correctly, there were two species in the hobby, one that ate plants and one that didn't.
