Thought I'd throw my pennies worth in lol I bought 4 Amano shrimp yesterday not seen them since, lights on, off nothing and there's plenty for them to eat. Is it possible my synodontis nigriventris could have eaten them as soon as they were released my big one is a good 6/7cm. I think the other fish are to small.

If a shrimp can fit in a fishes mouth, then it probably will at some point. I don't know a lot of Syno's so wouldn't advise but my personal rule is always as above.

Synos have pretty big mouths so if they are gone (they do hide well, especially at first) it'll be them unless you have cichlids, then it could be any of them......
