He is a big dude, how big is your tank again? Crayfish are very aggressive. I wouldn't be putting him in with other shrimp, or a small/medium CT.

4 Pepper Cory
6 Galaxy Rasbora
6 Amber Tetra
2 Rams (1 blue, 1 golden (breeding))

I think they will eat anything they can catch . Have a look at Vampire Shrimp if u want a Show shrimp, ITs what I would take If I had a larder tank.

I kept a crayfish once in with fish... The numbers went down quite quickly and also in the end he exploded/imploded for some reason...
I was much younger with an overstocked tank and underfiltrated too!
So glad I'm doing things a little more by the book now.

I probably wouldn't recommend a crayfish/lobster but that may be due to the icky end mine came to...

The only ornamental crayfish allowed in the UK is cherax quadricarinatus.
Any cray will take resting fish, so they need to be in a species-only tank and you can only keep two (male and female) at most.
You will need an absolute minimum of a 3' tank, preferably 4' for two.
You need to research as they can have problems moulting, so the water needs to be optimum and have a source of calcium.

I think I'll pass on the lobster/cray fish it was just an idea. I want something that will help eat crap left behind by the fish and any alge that crops up AND not be eaten by my catfish?! I think a colony of adult Amano shrimp would be fine but finding them is rare and they are expensive. I thought about crabs but it seems most need to be able to come out of the water now and then. My set up doesn't really allow that at the mo.
