Is dropsy a term for a hige belly as in ready to drop? I was thinking of those weird eggs when they are infertile.. oops.
Well hopefully she will be okay, there is alot of pressure etc down there and i believe, (im no expert) that shes in labour she ate this morning fine, but hasnt eaten tonight and is distancing her self from the other fry in the tank. Ill keep close eye. I did a water change been doing 20percent every 2days for the fry to be healthy. Thanks for your advice! Ill keep you posted
How pregnant is this guppy?

Unfortunately not, dropsy is symptoms of water retention and illness, unfortunately its also hard to cure as once symptoms (like raised scales) show its normally too late
I would not feed them in the morning and evening as you may be over feeding (hence the huge belly) and she maybe constipated as well. Guppies dont have an off switch when it comes to food and they will eat until they burst if they can
I would give them a starve day and try feeding a blanched deshelled pea the following day, hopefully it will help clear any blockage/constipation. And as you say keep an eye on her.

Okay thanks. Prahaps i do over feed, i do 2(what i think are small) feeds twice a day breakfast and tea time, i have a ghost knife which eats half a cube of frozen food in morning and half on a night, so i have got into the habbit of doing all the tanks at the same time. I could feed the guppys once a day, not like im trying to grow them out or anything. Ill persevere and see what happens.

I would only feed once a day anyway.
The females do tend to go a bit like that just before dropping, but the red is a little worrying unless you'd fed bloodworm or similar?
