He seems to have taken himself to bed! When I poke him he swishes his tail but doesn’t swim off. He was active and eating today. He’s about 7 years old...

@Ruth got to remember it has been a tad warm. Mine use be a little dopey after a warm day, they would always be hanging around the margins or in amongst the plants. Wait till it's cool off in the morning see how they are then.
WARNING - DO NOT BREED, FEED OR PET THE PUDDLE! :dodgy2:

Well, he can't have gotten out because its all covered with netting. Perhaps he has found himself another fold in the liner or between plant pots to hide away?
(Do you know which one this is, by name?) Hope he makes an appearance later on still.

If he lives to 40 he’ll have a new owner - I’ll be close to glory and waiting it out in a nice nursing home with my best mate! We’ve picked one out already 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Ruth,
I am not a vet or even experienced with fish ailments, nor is what l am about to write scientific or documented. However, in my experience l have noticed that behaviour in my fish over the years, not often l am glad to say but often enough to say your fish is just "under the weather" l am sure it will be fine in a day or so. Unless of course...........
Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Best wishes as always,
The Lazy Saint.
