Seeing as I’ve got a few minutes between the hell that’s happening at the moment, thought I’d spend sometime outside by the pond and it’s been great. Even more life with more frogs and toads!

We’ve had about 6 different toads now and this is only the second frog. Seems toads are more common around here than frogs

I don't know about 'the frogfather' so much then, I think we should call you Mr. Toad.fr499y wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 19:24 pm We’ve had about 6 different toads now and this is only the second frog. Seems toads are more common around here than frogs

We've had a few more delivered from next door as they have laid a patio and its the first time the gardens been touched in 7 years, so their hiding spots (grass, brambles, general sh*t) have been removed. Toads certainly seem more popular around here than frogs which is strange!Martinspuddle wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 19:45 pmI don't know about 'the frogfather' so much then, I think we should call you Mr. Toad.fr499y wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 19:24 pm We’ve had about 6 different toads now and this is only the second frog. I am more surprised your toads like to be in the pond, now and again I disturb a toad when gardening but have never seen one in my (admittedly small) pond, last time I saw one it was under a large planter that I have raised up one end with bricks, great you are able to see yours

Yeah, I usually find them around the pond or in a moist part of the garden.
