We have 3 frogs and a toad now in the pond as well as around 10 tadpoles :) A couple have the legs just starting to appear :laugh:

Seeing as I’ve got a few minutes between the hell that’s happening at the moment, thought I’d spend sometime outside by the pond and it’s been great. Even more life with more frogs and toads!

We’ve had about 6 different toads now and this is only the second frog. Seems toads are more common around here than frogs 😁

We've had a few more delivered from next door as they have laid a patio and its the first time the gardens been touched in 7 years, so their hiding spots (grass, brambles, general sh*t) have been removed. Toads certainly seem more popular around here than frogs which is strange!

I am more surprised your toads like to be in the pond, now and again I disturb a toad when gardening but have never seen one in my (admittedly small) pond, last time I saw one it was under a large planter that I have raised up one end with bricks, great you are able to see yours :happy:

Yeah, I usually find them around the pond or in a moist part of the garden.
