Seems like 100 people, 100 opinions.. Well I must admit, all the fishkeeping was obviously kids Idea.. I never thought about it.. but the more I read and watch the more I am into this..
Now I wished I should read more and get the filter with the thermometer built-in like Oase BioMaster Thermo 250 External Filter...
Once again - thanks for all your time,

Good morning
May I ask.... how long do u let your water sit before adding to tank?
I only have 80l so big bucket with bit of the dechlorinator will be ok but u guys mentioned your tanks are so much larger.... do you keep water somewhere before change?
Thank you

I don't let my water stand. It comes out of the tap and pumped straight into my tanks. While the water is going in I add enough seachem prime to treat the full tank volume.joolek.o wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 9:06 am Good morning

Straight in from the bucket after adding dechlorinator, it works straight away, so no need to sit.

Yep same for me, I use one of the python water changing systems and just pump straight in but put even dechlorinator for entire tank - although I do keep pondering a HMA filter so cut the need for dechlorinator!
Side note - I personally wouldnt buy the python again really expensive and tbh not great - a hosepipe with tap adapter does the same job!

Once the water is dechlorinated then it's straight in to the aquarium when using the bucket/watering can method.
I also use a hosepipe with a mixer tap adapter when re-filling my 550L aquarium.

I kept a pair of tweezers by the tank and picked them out when I saw them. Dont crush them in the tank as that will release eggs.
You could get an assasin snail to eat them too.

I just leave 'em be. They do good in the tank and are part of the environment.
As long as you don't overfeed the fish the population doesn't get that high.
I love snails.
