Hi guys, I'm looking for some ideas for stocking my small tank as I lost my Betta this week. I'm a bit out off getting another Betta, as the one I had seemed to be ill from the moment I got it, he actually was declared dead a few times but carried on for a couple of months.

I have super soft water and was considering some of the dwarf Cory's - Hastatus, Habrosus or Pygmeus, or even some dwarf anchor catfish (Hara Jerdoni). If I was to go down this route, I would probably want a small something in the higher swimming spaces but I have no idea what. I've never really done nano fish. Any suggestions welcome, the more unusual the better ::thumb::

I love male endlers or ember tetras for a splash of colour.

I love ember tetras they are stunning. I have 25l cube and holding off getting some embers as felt not enough space for them.
Now thinking to get chilli rasboras yet again trying to establish shrimps going a bit more first .

I've seen an article about pea puffers in 25l, is that doable? I'd be concerned about aggression?

I like the look of chilli raspora's. I'm dubious of live bearers as I once had a very pretty female guppy that in my novice days, was definitely a male until the babies were everywhere! Hard to re-home guppies....

I suspect it will be a small group of Raspora's and Dwarf Cory's. If I could find some Aspidoras Paucirodiatus locally, that would be perfect!

Peas should be in a group of 6+ to spread out the aggression so a 15gal would be needed for this

Gold tetras and pygmeus corys are cool together.
