Hello
I have an empty fluval 240l tank and was thinking of adding an EBJD but I'm struggling to find up to date information regarding hardiness of the fish and tank requirements for them
Does anyone have any advice and how many could possibly fit into a 240l tank?
Thanks

They're not hardy at all really, they're a poorly made hybrid and tend to have a lot of issues.

In terms of maintenance they’re very hardy, but should be kept in hardish water. 240l is big enough for a few.
In terms of health, most don’t make it to adulthood. They have a lot of issues... wasting, deformities, muscles not growing properly, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t live that long.
They’re not aggressive like regular JDs, and they stay a lot smaller. If you get one past 4” you’re doing well.

I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.
