Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and need a bit of help please.
My pet fish Stuart is nearly 18 and I need to move house. He hasn't been moved in over 13 years (I adopted him when he was 5). I also feel he needs a new tank as its starting to come away at the top. It's an Elite tank with an Elite Stingray 15 filter. The tank has now been discontinued and wondering if anyone has any advice. I believe he is a goldfish and is pearly white...who knows as I adopted him and they weren't sure. He's big and very very resilient and has lived through tumours on his mouth and them falling off, whacking himself off stones and causing burst blood vessels and a lot more. He's also very clever and I feel he deserves a shiny new tank.
I was going to obviously keep his filter, stones, toys and his water so it would be a change in tank only plus moving him (which I have a very indepth plan to ensure a smooth move).
Does anyone know a good tank (min 54 litre) for cold water fish. Rectangle. The Elite is a tropical tank and the heater was never used so even a tank with a detachable heater. Needs a decent light too. There's isn't much out there
Any help would be amazing! here's a few pics of Stuart including a selfie. Thanks so much in advance

Greetings & welcome to
For a start, you might want to think of a new name ...it's a she.
The bare minimum size aquarium you should thinking about is 20 gallons ( 90 litres) for one goldfish but ideally larger really and avoid any sharp decor such as rocks or ornaments.

Welcome to the forum.
As @Martinspuddle says, a 3' tank is the bare minimum for a goldie really (a 200l is better), but you've obviously been taking care of Stuart(a).
You'll want to upgrade the filter for a bigger tank, I'm actually amazed the Stingray has coped with a goldie's output.....
You will want to keep the media inside though and pop it in the new filter (I don't remember what the media is in the Stingrays), or you could run a second filter alongside, but don't get rid the media from the Stingray, even if you decide to then go down to one filter.
Sand is best for goldies as they have a tendency to swallow gravel....
