Maybe a topic for the future? Ol’ favoutites for example for fish we no longer have but have pretty good pics. Or even a ‘ fish antics’ topic for funny pics

It would be interesting to see what people have had as their favourites and the characters.
Nine is pretty, he’s pretty shy though, well hates my phone/camera, but “shouts” at me when he wants fed lol. I have his sisters in our other tank.
Jayne was unusual as (aside from being a beast) he had colour on all of his fins (dorsal, tail, anal and ventral fins), except the pectorals. This made him unusual as it meant he was a “quadruple red” colour, whereas you commonly only get single (dorsal fin), double (dorsal and tail fin) or triple (dorsal, tail, anal fin) red or orange burst colouring.

Quite possibly.
I know we had one for silly/daft pics because i put up the one in my avatar, which ironically is Jayne pulling a face lol

I can only see your avatar as a fish with a red bow on the dorsal

@fr499y, this months FOTM.

Are we just doing Plecostomus species or the Loricariidae family as a whole?

I've just edited it as any Loricariidae species is welcome from the common pleco to fancy L numbers

My fancy little L number posted up . I have two L129’s , Hypancistrus debilittera , Zeb and Deb. such great fish. Looking forward to seeing the pics from others for this theme. (And if they have names, how did they get it? Whats the little story behind their names? )

For mine Zeb (cos its zebra just shortened) and for Deb, well it rhymed with zeb but is also very short for ‘ debilittera’
