I personally feel that any bowl or biorb that is 30L or less should be banned from sale.

Bowls, like Biorb are OK if they are large and used for say for a planted Eco aquarium housing Shrimp.

It's giant water lettuce, it looks nice in glass bowl and has enough room to grow. I've also noticed the leaves grow upwards in sunlight but stay flat in the tank, not sure if it's sunlight or moving light that makes the difference.
