@cdelly. Hello Chris. Just thought I'd let you know that the bba in my tank is now dropping off and coming away. I'm 9 or 10 days into treatment and it seems to have knacked it.
64l kitchen tank: 16 golden tetra.
5ft 425L: 7 blue angel fish, 30 rummie nose tetra, 20 black neon tetra, 1 longfin bristlenose plec, 2 corydoras sterbai, 2 SAE.

I have amanos and a couple of clitheron snails in my big tank.
I've saw those sterilizer things before and I'm not sure they are worth the money?
Does uv stop bba seeing as it's in the tank and wont pass over the uv light?

don't think it will be effected by uv, but just another line of defence.
going to try increasing carbon in the tank, this seems to help the plants out compete the bba
if this doesn't work then will try quantum
