Ok so was gonna wait until i could get a pic but this guy/gal is literally teeny tiny and pretty much see through so finding him again is gonna be hard.
So i bought some moss balls last week in prep for my upcoming shrimp tank from my local lfs. Now they always seem to have good healthy tanks so i took a risk and unwisely i know added them to my fry tank which houses 3 molly fry atm just to keep them healthy.
So doing my water change i had an unknown visitor swim by the syphon. Immediately i cut the syphon with a pipe bend and saw a micro see through fry swim away. Now i spent a good solid hour trying to refind said fry but to no avail.
Phoned my lfs to enquire what fish were in with the moss balls but as they keep them in multiple tanks he really and fair enoughly couldnt remember which tank they came from.
Im literally praying this guy becomes something that likes hard water as im super excited/hoping to see what it becomes.

Pick a fish, could be any species from that angle. But fry are hard to spot and even harder to photograph. Might have to hope they make it do you can find out 😳

To me, it doesn't look like a livebearer, a little too slim.

Do you have any fry foods, live or dry?

They get fed a mixture of hikari first bites. Very rarely freeze dried brine shrimp and frozen brine shrimp if any left from other tanks and frozen micro worms

Yeah they dont hang about, always on the prowl for a good hiding/feeding spot :)
I use the smaller foods like rotifers (frozen) for very young fry, I have seen them struggle with a brine shrimp until they’re a bit older :)
