After a ten year break, last year we had a garden makeover and decided to include a pond in the design. I had a goldfish in my allotment pond, but he just looked after himself. We decided to bring him home and let him grow out in our new pond. Only to bring him home he was housed in a temporary aquarium. Well, that was it and the kick start of my renewed interest in fish keeping. It wasn't long and I bought an 80cm tank, 6 weeks ago another 120cm tank and four 30cm tanks in my office.
My father, bought me my first 18inch aquarium for my birthday when I was 13. I had such a huge interest in my uncle's tank that it started a lifetime interest in tropical fish, which was why my father gave me my first tank.
I currently have angels, cory's, bristle nose plecs, Zebra danios, black phantom tetras and more. We increased our pond to 5 goldfish and also my wife has one black moor and a tricolour Oranda in her own tank.
You could say I am hooked again lol
