When he 'folds up' those fins he fits just fine. He gets first choice of the caves and went for the smallest in the tank haha.

I never 'got' plecs until I er, got plecs! They were always the 'weird sucky fish' that you may get 1 of maybe. Then when you get one, you appreciate them in a whole new light and (I) end up getting loads! My main tank is becoming more of a plec tank with other fish than a community tank with some plecs.

Haha. We started off with a bristlenose, but got a female. I'm not a fan of the males weird face. Good cheap intro into the world of plecs. Plus the bristlenoses always seem a lot more confident, active and out and about than the fancier ones. The more money you pay, the less you see of them! Fact.
